"I wanted to make a Monogram noir." - Albert Pyun on the commentary track for BULLETFACE. Monogram was a production company that operated out of Los Angeles in the 40s and was what was known as a Poverty Row production company. It would churn out hour-long comedies, horror films, noirs, and whatever else was popular at the time.
