Florian M. Pilkington-Miksa (3 June 1950 – 20 May 2021) was an English rock drummer and a sculptor. He was best known as a member of both the original and reformed lineups of Curved Air. Florian Pilkington-Miksa. SONJA KRISTINA BROKE the news of the passing of Curved Air’s original drummer. Florian Pilkington-Miksa, who co-founded the British prog group in 1970 and had three spells with them. “Florian was a unique man and musician,” Curved Air vocalist Kristina wrote on Facebook.
Florian Pilkington-Miksa left in November 2017 and was replaced by Andy Tween. In 2019, Kirby Gregory returned on guitar in place of Hudson, and Grzegorz Gadziomski replaced Paul Sax on violin, both playing with the band at London's 100 Club on 17 October.
