  6. Noel Burke began his bowmaking tuition in 1989 under Charles Espey in Seattle, Washington. After a one year apprenticeship he moved to Paris where he studied under Stephane Thomachot for two years. He lives and works in Ireland and today he is regarded as perhaps one of the finest living bowmakers.
