[1] He has performed or recorded with Tommy Dorsey, Chubby Jackson, [2] Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Benny Goodman, Alice Coltrane, Louie Bellson, Charlie Shavers, Mel Tormé, Buddy DeFranco, and others.
