In 1980 Royse Ader was replaced by Al Chan. The Rubinoos then recorded the demos for a third album which never came to fruition. These demos, released in the 1990s as Basement Tapes, engineered by well known audio guru, Dan Alexander, is still thought to be one of their best efforts.
The Rubinoos was the 1977 debut album by American power pop band the Rubinoos. It was rereleased a number of times on different labels with different bonus tracks. The Rubinoos re-released it again on their own label, November 30, 2011 (bonus tracks listed below).

Tommy Dunbar on lead guitar and lead vocal, Jon Rubin (who usually did most of the lead vocals) on rhythm guitar, Royse Ader on bass and Donn Spindt on drums.
