  6. Dervan "Derv" Gordon (born 29 January 1946) is a British singer originally from Jamaica. He was the lead singer for The Equals from 1964 to 2017. He left in 2017 to start performing as a solo artist. He co-wrote many of the Equals' songs with Eddy Grant and Gordon's brother Lincoln Gordon.
