Mar 25, 2016 · Matthewdavid’s Mindflight is Heart Music. It’s a record of beauty that has evolved from explorations into his deepest emotions, visions and imagination. The Flights were most directly inspired by his profound connection with Michael Stearns’ Planetary Unfolding (Continuum Montage 1981).
His debut studio album, Outmind, was released on Brainfeeder in 2011. [13] The follow-up studio album, In My World, was released on Brainfeeder in 2014. [14] Under the moniker Matthewdavid's Mindflight, he released Trust the Guide and Glide in 2016, [15] and Ophiuchus in 2017. [16]
About Matthewdavid's Mindflight. Leaving Records co-founder Matthewdavid gained prominence as part of the Los Angeles experimental beatmaking scene, but his recordings have often drifted away from hip-hop, exploring ambient and new age influences.
