Arun Sao (born 25 November 1968) is an Indian politician, who is current Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh along with Vijay Sharma in the Ministry of Vishnudeo Sai in 6th Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. He represent Lormi Vidhan Sabha seat in legislative assembly of the Chhattisgarh.
Arun Sao is a lawyer and a politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is the president of BJP in Chhattisgarh and the deputy chief minister of the state since December 2023.

In August 2022, Arun Sao became the president of the Chattisgarh BJP by replacing Vishnudeo Sai. In the 2023 Chhattisgarh assembly elections, Sao defeated Congress leader Thaneshwar Sahu from the Lormi seat by 45,891 votes. On 13 December 2023, Arun Sao was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. [1] ABP News
