Tan See Leng (Chinese: 陈诗龙; pinyin: Chén Shīlóng; born 1964) is a Singaporean politician and former medical practitioner who has been serving as Minister for Manpower since 2021 and Second Minister for Trade and Industry since 2020.
Dr Tan See Leng was appointed as the Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry on 15 May 2021. Prior to this, Dr Tan was the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Trade and Industry and Second Minister for Manpower from 27 July 2020.
A veteran medical practitioner, Dr Tan See Leng was Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at IHH HealthCare Berhad from 2014 to 2019. During Dr Tan’s tenure, the group doubled its revenue from RM 6 billion to RM 12 billion.
Prior to entering politics, Tan See Leng was a family physician, entrepreneur, and Group Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare – one of the world’s largest healthcare networks.
