Amanda is the titular character and one of the antagonists in the indie-horror game, Amanda the Adventurer. She stars as the titular host of her TV show, Amanda the Adventurer, taking the audience and her companion Wooly along on everyday adventures.

She was inspired and voice acted by the show's creator's adoptive daughter, Rebecca Colton. However, her soul is implied to be trapped in Amanda's body, most likely a result of Hameln Entertainment's experiments.

Amanda is a young African-American girl, with a dark-almond skin complexion, alongside her black poofy hair that is styled into twin afro-puffs resembling mouse-ears. Whenever Amanda is stable, her brown eyes normally look doll-like; but when she turns unstable, her eyes become twitching with contracted black pupils.

She wears a yellow shirt and aquamarine shorts with purple socks and yellow sneakers.

At first glance, Amanda seems to be an average cartoon character for young audiences; A kind, sweet, and helpful girl who helps viewers pick the right options.

However, the more episodes that Riley watches, the more aggressive and sinister Amanda becomes in them. Every time Riley answers incorrectly, Amanda becomes irritated and impatient to the point where she makes things easier for the viewers (mainly for herself) by removing the incorrect options through hacking just to force the viewer to say the correct answer.

    Pilot Episode

"Hi! I'm Amanda." "And I'm Wooly!" This article or section is about the original game, Amanda the Adventurer: Pilot Episode. Information here may not be canon.

    Wooly

Wooly is Amanda's sidekick and best friend. However, their relations aren't expanded upon. In the Pilot Episode, Wooly fears Amanda's sudden changes in attitude, with Amanda intervening every time he tries to talk to the viewer. In "Finding Treasure", Amanda kills him after he rebels against her. In the main game, Wooly is not so afraid of Amanda, though he is more nervous. When Wooly tries to tell the player something important, Amanda breaks his knee. The next time he tries to repeat this, Amanda will say that Wooly's head is "broken" and that we need to fix it. Whatever action is chosen next, Amanda likely kills him.

    Riley Park

Amanda's relationship with Riley is determined by the player's choices. When Riley answers a question incorrectly, especially intentionally, Amanda becomes frustrated and retaliates by forcing Riley to answer correctly.

    Katherine Park

In "In Your Neighborhood", Amanda reveals Kate is her friend, with Amanda wanting to mail her a card and cookies.
