Enrique Gorostieta Velarde (Monterrey, 1889 – Atotonilco el Alto, June 2, 1929) was a Mexican soldier best known for his leadership as a general during the Cristero War.

He graduated with high honors from the Colegio Militar de Chapultepec (Mexico's West Point) and rose to the rank of general as he fought against Pascual Orozco, Emiliano Zapata and helped resist the American occupation of Veracruz.
The young Enrique entered the Colegio Militar in 1906, and in 1911 joined the National Army of the Porfiriato in the struggle with the Maderista rebels and eventually the young Captain Gorostieta joined the side of Victoriano Huerta.
