Paul Young is an Irish animator, illustrator, cartoonist, producer, and director. He is the CEO of Cartoon Saloon, a four-times Academy Award nominated and BAFTA nominated Irish animation studio. He co-founded the studio in 1999 with Tomm Moore and Nora Twomey. In 2015 he was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Paul is a co-founder of Cartoon Saloon, an IFTA winner and Oscar ®, Emmy and Bafta nominee. He Produced animated features, My Father's Dragon, WolfWalkers, The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea & The Breadwinner as well as a number of award-winning TV series including Puffin Rock, Dorg Van Dango & Viking Skool.
Paul Antony Young (born 17 January 1956) is an English musician, singer and songwriter. Formerly the frontman of the short-lived bands Kat Kool & the Kool Cats, Streetband and Q-Tips , he became a teen idol with his solo success in the 1980s.
