Princess Hexiao's Mansion (Heshen's Residence) From the 45th year of the Qianlong reign (1780) to the 4th year of the Jiaqing reign (1799) Emperor Qianlong had 10 daughters, of whom Princess Hexiao was the youngest. She was also known as the Tenth Princess.
In 1789, the 15-year-old Fengshen Yinde married Emperor Qianlong's youngest daughter Princess Hexiao. In 1790, he was appointed as an official of the guard of the imperial palace and the emperor. In 1794, he was promoted to guard commander.

The Qianlong Emperor deeply favoured the princess and showed even greater favour towards her mother. In 1778, Lady Wang ordered a palace maid to be severely beaten for making a minor mistake. The maid later died from her injuries.
