The mathematics curriculum at NUS High School is built upon important mathematical concepts such as number and algebra, geometry and measurement, function and graph, as well as probability and statistics.
If your child is already showing signs that he/she is math/science inclined, then NUS High School provides the option broad option to read triple science. Our students can choose to do an optional 4th major in the humanities and art, and they would be similar to a science-stream JC students.
NUS High School admits students for Year 1 (Sec 1) and Year 3 (Sec 3). All students will be admitted to NUS High School in January of each calendar year. They will be assessed by the following indicators: Academic performance in the school, particularly in the areas of mathematics and science.
