Value City Arena is a multi-purpose arena, located on the campus of Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The arena opened in 1998 and is currently the largest by seating capacity in the Big Ten Conference , with 19,049 seats, which is reduced to 18,809 for Ohio State men's and women’s basketball games.

Feb 7, 2024 · The Ohio State hockey team shares its home, Value City Arena @ Jerome Schottenstein Center, with the school's basketball team. Opened in 1998 and with a capacity of 17,500, Value City Arena is not the most ideal home for Buckeye hockey, but does give the team more of a major league feel playing in a large arena.
The home of Ohio State basketball and hockey teams Value City Arena is rarely full and not a what the buckeye fans expected. Fans are not real close to the floor and action as they were in St. John's Arena.
