B.L. Stryker. B.L. (Buddy Lee) Stryker is an ex-cop from New Orleans who returns home to Palm Beach to retire and live in a tacky old houseboat. Rita Moreno plays Kimberley Baskin, Stryker's ex-wife, who went onto marry a millionaire and now lives as a widow in Palm Beach.
B.L. is hired to protect a little girl on her train-ride to safety. The little girl's mother was murdered and she saw it happen, she is now hunted by a criminal group who she can testify against. An assassin is on the train.
