A 1994 anime film was produced by Toei. Its story is original and acts as a sequel to the TV series. Ghost Sweeper, Reiko Mikami, is called on by the ghost of the long dead samurai Mitsuhide Akechi to stop Nobunaga who was killed and had his form taken by a vampire called Nosferatu.

Ghost Sweeper Mikami (GS美神 極楽大作戦!!) is a manga series written and illustrated by Takashi Shiina, published by Weekly Shōnen Sunday between 1991-1999, clasified as Shonen, focused on Comedy, Action, and Supernatural themes. Winner of 1993 Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen manga.
The sexy and money-hungry Reiko Mikami is a ghost sweeper - a person who defeats monsters and evil spirits that cause harm to people. Along with her loyal assistant Tadao Yokoshima and the human-sacrifice-turned-spirit Okinu, Reiko will take whatever job necessary to gain a few yen.
Mikami Reiko runs a business known as GS (Ghost Sweeper) Mikami, where she exorcises any evil that is bothering people. Her assistant, Tadao, only works for Reiko to see her nude one day. Too bad he isn't getting paid much for his job anyway.
