Wonders of the Solar System is a 2010 television series co-produced by the BBC and Science Channel, and hosted by physicist Brian Cox. Wonders of the Solar System was first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC Two on 7 March 2010.

- The impact crater of Utopia Planitia, Mars. The largest recognized impact basin in the solar system, Utopia Planitia features a crater that stretches more than 2,000 miles (about 3,300 kilometers) across Mars' northern plains.
- The solar system's tallest mountain on Vesta. Despite its diameter of about 330 miles (530 km), the asteroid Vesta is home to our solar system's tallest mountain.
- The vast canyon of Valles Marineris, Mars. To put the scale of Mars' immense Valles Marineris into perspective, just imagine the Grand Canyon four times deeper and stretching from New York City to Los Angeles.
- The icy geysers of Enceladus. Enceladus, Saturn's second-largest moon, is a geologically active world covered in thick ice, and home to a large subsurface ocean of liquid water estimated to be about 6 miles (10 km) deep.
- Mare Orientale (the Moon) It’s unfortunate that one of the Moon’s most striking features, Mare Orientale, is difficult to see from Earth. However, if it faced us, it would make for a fascinating sight.
- Valles Marineris (Mars) There would be no shortage of stunning vistas of Valles Marineris for any astronauts who explored it. This oblique view was constructed from imagery and terrain data (exaggerated by a factor of four) from ESA’s Mars Express mission.
- The volcanoes of Io (moon of Jupiter) The surface of Io constantly changes its appearance thanks to its volcanoes, which continuously erupt. The colors result mostly from sulfur in various stages of solidification.
- The ‘Tiger Stripes’ of Enceladus (moon of Saturn) Researchers created this enhanced view of Enceladus’ south polar region by combining Cassini images taken through infrared, green, and ultraviolet filters.
