Ben 10: Ultimate Alien is the third iteration of the franchise and the sequel of Ben 10: Alien Force. The art and story styles in this series are similar to Alien Force. The series follows 16-year old Ben and Gwen along with 17-year old Kevin. This series is followed-up by another sequel series called Ben 10: Omniverse.

The theme song is notable for showing an in-artstyle still of every transformation ever seen in the franchise up to that point, despite some of them not ever appearing in the show. It also shows the five Andromeda aliens and the first six Ultimate Forms. The first four notes of the theme song would go on to become a motif that represents Ultimate Alien in the franchise.
