"Do the Wrong Thing" is the tenth episode of the thirty-fifth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons, and the 760th episode overall. It aired in the United States on Fox on December 24, 2023. The episode was directed by Rob Oliver and written by Joel H. Cohen.

Do the Wrong Thing is the tenth episode of Season 35. (and also going to air as the first episode of the season in production order.)
Homer and Bart become kings of the blue-collar sports circuit, but Marge suspects something dishonest at the core of their father-son bond.
The episode starts when Grandpa retires from fishing and is about to pass it on to his son Homer Simpson who is not very confident about it sense he has a hard time at winning at anything. At the fishing derby, Homer accidentally gets the fishhook caught in his lip and his panicking caused the canoe to tip backwards, but he ends up catching a fish anyway and wins. However, when he tries to slice open the fish, marbles come out of it. Homer realizes Bart cheated by stuffing marbles in the fish to help him win, but he's so happy about the gesture and hugs him. They both start cheating at every blue-color sports event so they can bond.
Marge starts to become suspicious at how they are winning, especially since Homer never played any of these sports before. When she confronts him, Homer admits he and Bart are cheating to bond. Marge is horrified by this and insists that cheating is wrong. Lisa gets accepted into Springfield University but finds out her application has her face photocopied on false achievements she never made. She angrily accuses Homer of sabotaging her application and even exposes him and Bart for cheating at every sporting event, including the axe-throwing competition Homer was just about to cheat at.
While the family is being chased by the vengeful contestants whom Homer and Bart had all cheated against, Marge confesses that she was the one who sabotaged Lisa's application since she wanted to help her get in by cheating, which upsets Homer and Lisa. Just as the contestants are about to kill Homer, the family is captured and brought to the Springfield University dean about Lisa's application. Surprisingly, the university itself is revealed to be all about cheating and accept all students who lied on their applications. When the dean offers to enroll Lisa as an "honorary cheater", Lisa angrily refuses and Homer turns down the cheating professor job open at the university, vowing never to cheat again.
The episode ends with Bart becoming a professor of cheating at Springfield University. Where he teaches classes on cheating every Thursday.
