Apply for an HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter to commence your home buying journey. Receive your HFE letter in about a month’s time, after HDB has received all the required documents. Processing time is longer during peak periods, such as in the month of or before a sales launch.

Apr 28, 2023 · With the new HFE letter, HDB will streamline the flat buying process by integrating the different eligibility assessments for HDB flat purchases, housing grants, and HDB housing loans into a single application through the HDB Flat Portal.
These 2 steps must be completed within 30 calendar days of each other. This includes having co-applicant (s) and occupier (s), if any, sign electronically via their Singpass, and uploading all the required documents. The last day for you to complete Step 2 will be stated in the HDB Flat Portal.
