The Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) for O-Level students is an admissions exercise that allows graduating O-Level students to apply for and receive conditional offers for admission to polytechnic based on their aptitudes and interests before taking their GCE O-Level examinations.
The Polytechnic Early Admissions Exercise (Poly EAE) is an aptitude-based admissions exercise that allows students to apply for and receive conditional offers for admission to polytechnics prior to receiving their final grades.
The Poly EAE is primarily targeted at students who have strong aptitude and interest in a field related to the diploma course they are applying for. Where relevant, the Polytechnics may also take into account students' talent and achievements in sports, arts, leadership, entrepreneurship and community service during the Poly EAE selection process.
Application Procedure. Poly EAE application timelines for admission to the AY2025 polytechnic intake are as follows: Working adults: 3-June-2024 to 30-June-2024. ITE students: 6-June-2024 to 12-June-2024. O Level students: 20-June-2024 to 26-June-2024.
