In January 2003, ACS (Primary) and ACS (Barker Road) moved back to the Barker Road Campus. ACS (Barker Road) today offers an education that holds true to Bishop Oldham’s vision of a philosophy of education that stresses Academic Achievement, Strength of Character and Christian Service.

ACS (Barker Road), together with Oldham Hall and ACS (Primary), begins operations at the enhanced Barker Road campus at 60 Barker Road. 2003 ACS (Barker Road) is declared officially open by Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam, then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence.
Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) is a government-aided Methodist all-boys' secondary school located at Barker Road in Newton, Singapore. It is a member of the Anglo-Chinese family of schools in Singapore.
Described as the largest educational project in Singapore and Malaya at that time, the Barker Road campus overlooked Bukit Timah and was termed “the Sentinel of Bukit Timah”. This campus would in turn house all the ACS units at one time or another.
In 1970, Shaw Foundation financed a new Olympic-sized pool, Shaw Pool, at the ACS at Barker Road, making it the first school in Singapore to own such a sporting facility. In later years, the Shaw Foundation also funded the building of one block of classrooms, named Shaw Block in the old Barker Road Campus and the Shaw Library at ACS (Independent).
