The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple is a historical Buddhist temple dedicated to the worship of the Chinese goddess of mercy, Guan Yin. It’s one of the oldest temples in Singapore, having been built back in 1884 and evident in its traditional 19 th -century courtyard design.

The Temple is right on a bustling pedestrian mall with markets, shops, hawker centres (Waterloo St Food Centre),Albert Centre & Bugis+ nearby. The closest train station (walking distance) is Bugis.
If you are in the vicinity of Waterloo Street, Bugis or Rochor area, do visit the famous Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple. Entrance is free and it is opened daily from 6.00am to 6.00pm. At the main central altar, Shakyamuni Buddha is seated behind Goddess Kuan Yin.
