  1. Splinter A movie I never hear mentioned here enough. The Stuff It's The Blob except its not. Critters a movie that sorely in need of a remake Arachnophobia is a classic! The Headhunter is a great film Attack The Block Really good film that's getting a sequel

  2. The entire team of gung ho marines. The lack of backstory of the creature. The fact that we dont even know what is attacking them until the third act. The cat and mouse chase between Dutch and creature. Great one liners. An amazing score. The perfect combination of horror/action. I love that film.

  3. May 24, 2018 · Just saw your post. If you’re into reading and enjoyed this movie, I highly suggest reading the book. It’s a novelization of the film written by Orson Scott Card, a brilliant writer well known for Ender’s Game. Normally, I wouldn’t ever suggest novelizations but Orson adds a massive amount of context, backstory and more to the original ...

  4. Oct 9, 2022 · Mine are: An American Werewolf in London (1981), Pumpkinhead (1988), Tremors (1990), Jeepers Creepers (2001), Slither (2006) Tremors... Super good. RIP Fred Ward. There’s a couple in here I personally wouldn’t consider a “monster movie” first and foremost, but others may and nothing wrong with extra movies to look at. Feel free to stop ...

  5. Mar 4, 2022 · Shin Godzilla feels like a must-see modern day creature feature. Other than that I love Slither, The Blob (1988), and Q is a fun one. For some found footage creature novelty: Troll Hunter has a lot of nods to Jurassic Park and Exists is a decent Bigfoot movie with some very fun Bigfoot scenes.

  6. The Swedish movie Border (2018) fits the bill. Don't read upon it too much, just watch it. Its great! Tale of Tales (2015) is a great movie with mythic and folklore like creatures, though it has more of a fairy-tale thing going on. Its really beautiful and exiting. In a similar vein Pans Labyrinth (2006) is very good, with amazing creature scenes.

  7. May 23, 2022 · Here is where toxic masculinity can be killed, in a child's youth. Here is where Men and boys can be taught that they are owed nothing by women. Ultimately the Greenman, a symbol of rebirth, brings Harper to this realization and allows for her rebirth and freedom from the guilt felt for James' suicide.

  8. The creature was wonderfully done, even though I didn't understand the meaning of the tiny version in the end. Perhaps that no matter how hard you try to fight addiction, it will always be in you, ready to grow. Not a clear movie, and certainly not well-polished thematically, but still good enough to keep my interest.

  9. I really like creature horror movies. Some of my favorites are the Ritual, Antlers, the Cursed, The Relic, the Tank, Jaws, and Black Water. I also enjoyed the Cave, the Grey, Creature, 47 meters down, Alien, Predator, and the sequels. The Descent and the Tunnel are on my watch list.

  10. Damn I miss bipasha basu whenever I watch this movie. She literally carried the whole movie. The cgi of the creature was good enough for a 2014 movie. The songs were good too. The story is okkayish. Bachpan Mai Darr lagta tha isko dekhke. And even now I can watch this movie in free time without getting bored. What are your thoughts on this movie?
