The government is yet to secure funding for the bypass that starts at the former American embassy and runs through the Nairobi National Park before crossing Lang'ata Road above Uhuru Gardens.

The London-based private infrastructure development trust will undertake a feasibility study, which is expected to cost up to $5-million.
