The White Company ones were bought at least 8 years ago and although the colours have faded they are still in good condition. AO offered to sell aftermarket warranty for £7 a month, which works out £84 a year. For a £549 fridge that comes with 2 year warranty that seems like an awful lot.

Last year we had the loft boarded and insulation all replaced (done by recommended tradespeople). I’ve now noticed white mould on the roof beams. A quick online search suggests this is caused by condensation.

Cif is one of the few cream cleansers that are supposedly OK on plastic baths - so the windows shouldn't be too much of a problem. Once you've got the frames back to white, use some Mer car polish (Halfords) this'll give a shine & protection from polution & sunshine UV discolouration - if it's not faded too far! VB.
