Nov 4, 2020 · Acute and Emergency (A&E) Care Centre at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital has been in operation since 2010 and sees over 138,000 patients a year. The Centre has an urgent care section which receives all walk-in patients and an acute care area which sees the critically ill and trauma.
We provide specialist outpatient care to persons aged 65 and above who have Geriatric syndromes such as Incontinence, Falls, Frailty, Dementia or have multiple complex medical diseases and functional impairment, and to adult patients who have Palliative care needs.
We provide information and advice on, and referrals to, care options for patients after their discharge from hospital. These include community hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, charity homes, day care centres, senior activity centres, home-help and befriending services.
