Sep 28, 2015 · Siobhan, at Alamy contributor relations, explained that Alamy do ask credit lines to be included with the photographer's name and the stock agency- Alamy. However, in practice not every client does so and Alamy cannot guarantee this. It would be nice gesture, if client's across the industry did include them as best practice, anyway.

Dear Forum , i am new in the alamy world , i am recently uploaded 4 Photos who already accepted and passed the QC check . However , i noticed that my pictures identified as ( images on sell with POOR Discoverability ) i found that i have to put 50 Normal Tags , and 10 Supertags .
Jan 12, 2018 · Another thought, Alamy appears to be suggesting that we need to include the optional fields to improve discoverability. I added a primary category to an image and it immediately leapt into the green zone. This is easy to do, you can select huge numbers of images that fall into particular categories and make the appropriate selection.
Oct 8, 2018 · Joined Alamy: 27 Jul 2013. Posted October 8, 2018. The minimum size confuses many people. The 17MB minimum is related to your RAW file size just before you turn it in to a jpeg. Jpegs can vary widely in sizes depending on the content of the image. I have submitted jpegs from 3 - 15MB.

I was also trying to get into the "Good Discoverability" by filling in all 50 keywords and 10 super tags etc. Result was poor ranking of image because the keywords are more suited for MS as rightly pointed by others.
Mar 8, 2018 · Being that Alamy generally sells editorial images, buyers are looking for images to compliment an article or news story. I use all 10 supertags allowed with every image. Although you are allowed 50 total tags, it is pretty rare to come up with that many relevant tags for one image.
