If it's in a baking pan, you would put it in the stove. Without knowing the dough and the recipe and the directions, we can't tell you the preposition.

It may be the structure of the final product, that makes it so difficult for me to believe all of these are the same family because our dumplings, most of them, are more or less spongy while our noodles never have porous structure after or before cooking.
