Dec 8, 2019 · I love Flight of the Navigator. People always quote "COMPLIANCE!" etc which overshadows the very, very dark first half of the film. What he goes through is extremely traumatic. He's essentially kidnapped and mind-raped. There were so many ripe story threads here for a sequel.
Mar 6, 2015 · I watched Flight of the Navigator with my daughter when she was little, and we both enjoyed it thoroughly. Now, my granddaughter is a year old, and I'm looking forward to watching the movie with her when she's old enough. It's nice to hear that other people found it memorable. Reply.

Wish I could say we’re leaving a better world to our children, but they’re growing up with retreads and formulaic comic book movies. We aren’t the last great generation, but we had the last great childhood.
Feb 10, 2024 · Picked at Salvation Army. It’s definitely worth watching. This is one of my favourite films, much underrated and well worth a watch or 5. I loved this as a kid! I watched it recently and somehow I never knew that Paul Reubens is the voice of the ship!! I fucking loved this as a kid in the 80s. You’re in for a treat.

Jan 1, 2019 · Imagine my frustration when I got back in my dorm and that mirrored ship I saw on TV was Queen Amidala's ship and the movie was not in fact Flight of the Navigator, but The Phantom Menace. My high was blown so quick.
