Aug 11, 2021 · Thinking on it a good comparison would be "Hardcore Henry" where in the beats are pretty similar, but HH played the story serious and instead had atmospheric wackiness so it largely worked. Guns akimbo largely felt like a wasted good idea. Like they couldn't be bothered to write/film a fun story around the gimic.

Guns Akimbo is a Cyberpunk action film that’s shot and written like a comic book. Its acting and writing is pure silliness and comedy. I loved it. It was funny, it was fun, it was aesthetically pleasing, and creatively shot and edited.

Jul 17, 2020 · Wanted is incredibly similar. It’s an oldie, but watch The Running Man (w. Schwarzenegger) Nerve is basically the same movie if it were made for girls instead of boys. You may also want to check out Hardcore Henry for badass action. Check out Crank or Shoot ‘em Up. Maybe Last Action Hero to an extent.

ADMIN MOD. Guns Akimbo (2019) is such a fun movie. Discussion. It took me 3 tries to watch it because at first, his troll persona irked me badly. I am very glad I gave it this third try. Daniel Radcliffe is always great and I should never have doubted. Many thanks to anyone who has recommended it to me in the past.

Hey choombas, I'm sure I'm not the only person, player or GM, who has entertained the notions of double guns, especially dual-SMGs. It's flashy, it's stupid, it's awesome.
Jul 30, 2020 · FanTheory. I get the feeling that the ending of Guns Akimbo was changed. The ending has a fake out where Miles and Nova embrace after Ricktor gets throw off the building, but it's revealed that Miles is actually bleeding out and in shock and Nova is horrifically traumatized by seeing Miles pistol whip a man to death.
