Jessie is having the time of her life on stage. I hugged her and caught the rose that was used as a prop during Shake The Bottle performance.

Moody, cozy mid tempo is the album's most laid back moment, but the light bass and snare loops carry just enough groove to keep the subtle beat afloat and let delicacy of Ware's, lone for once, vocals shine.
Jan 29, 2024 · One of our earliest tastes of Jessie the legitimate bop-maker was her support of upcoming brotherly dance act Disclosure, who had remixed Running as one of their earliest releases. They subsequently worked together again on their debut album, producing Confess To Me. Taken from Disclosure's debut album Settle, a fantastic album, Jessie really feels at home with something like this.

Jan 29, 2024 · Running was Jessie's debut single, released in February 2012. It's such a strong introduction to her career; it's beautiful, subtle and romantic. The Sade vibes are very strong, as well as hints of Prince - the song uses the drum loop from his The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker in the chorus - but ultimately its' classic Jessie in the best way.
Mar 13, 2021 · Odd so many people are saying it is like Santa Esmeralda’s cover of “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” when it sounds closer to Brazilian music from the 60s/70s (the “I work all niiiiight” especially reminds me of “Mas Que Nada” by Sergio Mendes) than the dramatic Flamenco Disco presented in the former.
