Mar 20, 2022 · A lot of people find the ending unsatisfying for your reasons me included. I suppose at the end of the day Jamie Foxx is the hero so he should get the happy ending but a lot of us empathize with Gerard butler's situation and his feelings of getting screwed by the system.
A follow-up to the $130M-plus grossing movie Law Abiding Citizen is happening with producer Lucas Foster and screenwriter Kurt Wimmer returning, as well as Gerard Butler and his G-Base partner Alan Siegel reprising their roles as producers. No casting was announced but Butler is producing.
To stop cutting deals and to start fighting to put criminals in jail through trial. At the same time though, Foxx has become corrupted. Searching property without a warrant, and murdering Butler. During the recital, Foxx seems to be having some internal conflict. I interpreted this as Foxx realizing he is no longer a "law abiding citizen."
May 3, 2021 · For instance, a lot of people believe that he personally changed the ending of Law Abiding Citizen so that his character would "win." However, this has never been proven or acknowledged. That said, he did change the ending of Miami Vice.
According to several people working on it - Law Abiding Citizen went through various iterations before the filmmakers agreed on the ending that was cut. An alternate version proposed would have seen Nick kill Clyde by hand, which led to him being arrested and making a deal with a DA who became just like his dead enemy

Feb 23, 2010 · SPOILER. What really got me the most about this movie was near the ending. Think about it, he clearly had access and time to plant a camera in the chandelier of the conference room well before the meeting, but he leaves the bomb upstairs above the room that night and right there in the fucking open.

For those unaware, there's a very common belief that Jamie Foxx demanded at the last minute of production of Law Abiding Citizen to have his character 'win' and kill off Gerard Butler's character, when the original planned ending (that we all wanted) was to do the opposite.

Question When Darby picked up the girl i was sad and mad at the same time thinking he r ped her, i convince myself that he didn't and just killed the girl but seeing his way of thinking he would definetely do that but i still refuse to think so, does anyone know if the writer said anything if the girl was killed or is it r pe slay murder?
