Nov 14, 2012 · Another solution would be to, like the first one, uninstall physx from your computer, uninstall Mass Effect 2 and reinstall it. To be clear, the issue seems to be that Mass Effect 2 is working with the version of physx provided in the disc, and not with the latest. View in thread. #2.

Jan 8, 2013 · Click "OK" and start the game from the shortcut on your desktop. (Note: If it is not working for the " MassEffect2.exe " create a shortcut to the " ME2game.exe " and add the line there.) This should also work for crashes at the end of the Shadow Broker DLC. Make sure ME2 has fully stopped running, because I have had a few crashes lately in which a game is still running a process basically as a background one, but shouldn't be. When it leaves a process running, the only ways I got to fix it was to open task manager and find the process or to restart my entire machine.

There they recommended that if you had problems connecting you should check the file HOSTS in your windows folder... actually the file is in this address C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc on windows 10.

If you have special characters, change your password, and the game may accept it. If the support site doesn't have any useful contact methods, change your region. View in thread.

Hero. @HenuHemuli. Go to your Reliability monitor > Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and paste or type " perfmon /rel " (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER” and look if it has entries for MELE ME2, "Origin.exe" or "Steam.exe".

In Origin, if you go into your games library right click on Mass Effect 2 -> Game Properties -> Advanced Launch Options. In the space below "Command line argument", Does anyone know the command needed to unlock the Developer Console? I can't seem to find it anywhere. BioCodeThingy.jpg.

I tried it on Windows 10, and just to try it, I reinstalled Windows 7, crash still here. I tried GPU drivers from AMD: 15.12, 15.20, 16.1, 16.1.1, 16.2, 16.2.1, 16.3.1. I tried deleting the game completely via Origin, and doing a complete reinstall with all DLC. I also tried the Repair Game function in Origin, crash still here.
