5. Canterbury's nightlife is a bit dead. The on campus club Venue is pretty decent but gets a bit samey. Cuban in town is tiny and is always packed - expensive too. (7) General Tips about Canterbury's Nightlife-Campus bars are the cheapest in Canterbury-In general Canterbury's quite an expensive place to go drinking, but I think that goes for most cities in the South of England-If you're going to the clubs in town and you're on campus then make sure you bring money for a taxi back unless you want a long walk up the hill after all that dancing.
The nightlife is a disaster in St Andrews. Bizz9. Coventry nightlife is shockingly bad. It's truly awful. For such a big city there are no decent clubs (apart from Kasbah which is good for under 21s and students). There are no classy bars, and music artists/ DJ rarely come here, apart from to the Kasbah.
In addition to winning overall this year, it came first in facilities, social life, campus life, extracurricular activities/societies, and obviously sporting facilities, and came 2nd for best student union, and excelled well in pretty much every other area as well. Loughboroughs nice, its is green, really very green even for a campus.
