Melvin Van Peebles’ Watermelon Man makes its worldwide Blu-ray debut courtesy of Indcator, presented on a single-layer disc in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and encoded at 1080p/24hz. Indicator is using an older master supplied to them by Sony, and I assume it’s the same one used for their original DVD edition.

Sep 27, 2021 · The easiest way would be just playing the blues scale over the whole thing. The original version is in F, so you could play F blues scale over it (play the F blues scale over all of the chords). Learn the Herbie solo on it. Also improv is not about scales, it's about instant transcribing music that comes in your mind.

The song during the opening sequence is amazing, but so is the tribal music that plays throughout the show. Herbie Hancock - Watermelon Man [Jazz] If you dig this, check out "the headhunters - survival of the fittest". Herbie put this band together for this album and after he wanted to disband it... but the funk was too strong so they kept it going without him.
