  1. Windham is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. The population was 18,434 at the 2020 census. [2] It includes the villages of South Windham and North Windham. It is part of the Portland – South Portland – Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area .

    • John A. Andrew. The Pleasant River Grange building where John A Andrew, a Governor of Massachusetts, was born in 1818 is found in South Windham. He served for five years during the Civil War and died a year later in 1867.
