But the OP is asking about input modes of the Chinese Input Method. While a Chinese input method is active, pressing shift switch between Chinese mode and English mode.

Nov 18, 2022 · After updating to Windows 11, version 22H2, I found that I could not find the Chinese input tool as the following screenshot. Therefore, I tried to reinstall the basic typing under the language > option. But the install process hold for a couple of hours. ( Can not complete the installation ) Pls help me to restore the Chinese keying method.
