May 29, 2016 · Tower Transit, the inaugural operator under the Government bus contracting regime, started running 26 routes in the western part of Singapore in May 2016. The Anglo-Australian firm painted its buses in lush green, the colour chosen by the public, and faced competition from SBS Transit and SMRT.
