Bras Basah MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line (CCL) located in the Museum planning area, Singapore. It is underneath Bras Basah Road, bordering Waterloo Street and Queen Street.
Dec 17, 2023 · Bras Basah MRT Station (CC2) is an underground station along the Circle Line (CCL) Stage 1, located in the Central area. It is built underneath Bras Basah Road, with nearby buildings including the Singapore Art Museum, SMU campus, NTUC Income Centre and Manulife Centre.
In 2000, to draw in good quality and innovative designs for Bras Basah and Stadium MRT stations on the CCL, LTA and Singapore Institute of Architects organised the Marina Line International Architectural Design Competition. Renowned local architectural firm, WOHA, won the competition for both stations.

We will focus on directions from the closest station but also summarize the walking time and distance from other stations nearby.

Bras Basah (CC2) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle Line. It is the second deepest station with a depth of 35m below ground level. It also houses the longest escalator, at 41 m which stretches from the ticket concourse to the transfer level and takes approximately one minute to travel.
