Sep 2, 2020 · The PAP team led by S. Iswaran and Desmond Lee secured a narrow victory over the PSP team led by Tan Cheng Bock in the 2020 general election. The PSP achieved its best result in a PAP stronghold, while the PAP faced a lower vote share than in 2015.
Jan 18, 2024 · Former transport minister S. Iswaran has resigned from the PAP and West Coast GRC after being charged with corruption. His colleagues Desmond Lee, Ang Wei Neng, Foo Mee Har and Rachel Ong said they will continue to serve the residents and ensure their needs are looked after.
Jan 8, 2024 · Mr Iswaran, who is in charge of the West Coast ward in the GRC, was arrested by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) on July 11, 2023, and is out on bail.
