    Buckingham ( / ˈbʌkɪŋ ( h) əm / BUK-ing- (h)əm) is a market town in north Buckinghamshire, England, close to the borders of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, which had a population of 12,890 at the 2011 Census.
