It was actually my first time outside of the U.S.. when I arrived I was immediately hit with a sickening smell - a very thick, sweet, nauseating smell. For the first two days of my trip, it was so unbearable that I thought I was going to have to stay in the hotel.

Run by a single chef who buys all the ingredients he needs fresh at the market then cooks an entire 5 (can’t remember for sure) course meal pretty much next to you.   9. Paris definitely has nicer architecture and more interesting history, imo. Not to mention better food and, while an expensive city, is still more affordable than London. There also seems to be a Metro station everywhere and the metro is much easier to navigate through for a noob than London's. Paris also seems to still have more of that ...
