  5. Aug 16, 2016 · 11. If you're organised throughout the course, you should be absolutely fine. One thing with the accelerated LPC is that falling a week or two behind with reading/notes can be very very hard to claw back from. Find yourself a good set of legacy notes and you'll be fine though.

  8. The honest answer is, yes, your 2:2 will hinder you, and no, you won't look better than people from Nottingham Trent. The irony is, a 2:1 from anywhere is viewed as much of a muchness. This is quite annoying for people who would have a much better chance at a 1st at an ex-poly, but chose to go to a "red brick" university instead.

  9. Aug 3, 2023 · Basically, you could get a commendation, high commendation, or one of the three category prizes. All the awards were announced at the dinner, and everybody got a certificate, either for a commendation, high commendation, or a category prize; I don't think you get one simply for being shortlisted, but everyone who was shortlisted last year happened to get at least a commendation.

  10. A. theanalyst. 40-59 pass. 60-69 commendation. 70+ distinction. At BPP, the final mark is made up of the 7 exams (11% each) plus a couple of tests and the research essay. But this may be different at City. Hope that helps.

  11. I was the other way around, my average was 59 until I blitzed family with 78! Ended up with 63 average! You should have done family, seriously straightfoward, 50 marks for filling out a divorce petition and a Form E (all info provided, just a matter of copying the right stuff into the right boxes!)
