May 31, 2021 · Rating action Nairobi, 31 May 2021 – GCR Ratings (“GCR”) has affirmed Mayfair Insurance Company Limited’s (“Mayfair”) national scale financial strength rating of A+ (KE), with the outlook accorded as Stable.
Mayfair is a privately owned company licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya to underwrite general insurance business since 2005.
Mayfair Insurance is a premier insurance company with a growing footprint in East and Central Africa. The company’s growth has enabled it to expand into the financial sector through its affiliate company Mayfair Bank.
