- Canon. These days, Canon is known as the photography powerhouse, but it wasn’t always that way. Back in 1937 and throughout the 20th century, the market was dominated by companies such as Eastman Kodak.
- Nikon. Nikon was founded in 1917 and was a prominent lens producer throughout much of the 20th century.
