Nov 7, 2020 · John Little left his iconic Raffles Place store in the sixties, and over the years, went on to open stores at the downtown area, such as Plaza Singapura and Specialist’s Shopping Centre. It was revamped with a new logo “JL” in the late eighties in order to woo the younger crowds.

John Little’s was founded in 1845 by three Scottish brothers and catered to the needs of a growing European community in Singapore. The firm ran a motor garage, made and sold furniture and operated a café, a beauty salon and a general store.
