    Unlike previous seasons, there were no guest judges during the Judge Cuts. Due to Heidi becoming ill, Eric Stonestreet acted as a guest judge in Episodes 1505 and 1506.Likewise, due to Simon recovering from a serious back injury, Kelly Clarkson acted as a guest judge in Episodes 1509 and 1510.
