This data will provide us with valuable insights into employee movements, occupational trends, working hours and wages, which will aid MOM in shaping policies. Location data gathered through the OED can also be utilised in urban and transport planning, hence increasing efficiency and accessibility.
Mar 14, 2024 · As part of maintaining labour market statistics, employers are also required to provide their Occupational Employment Dataset (OED) (which include occupation, hours worked) on a regular basis to MOM.
MOM will use your OED information to determine if your organisation has met the PW Mark requirements by paying all your local employees in the progressive wage occupations at least the applicable Sectoral or Occupational PW wage rungs, and all other local employees at least the Local Qualifying Salary (LQS).
